Deep in the woodland beside the Tweed, the Adventure Playground takes its cues from the estate's own history. Admiral Sir David Milne — the naval officer who built Milne Graden in 1823 — wove seafaring into the fabric of this place, and that spirit finds new life here: timber and rope reimagined into something for climbing, exploring, and the kind of imaginative play that needs a canopy of trees overhead and no particular plan.
